EDIFIS SURFACES processes the information needed for your requests and uses aggregate statistics to improve the website.
To improve usability and speed, EDIFIS measures page categories, searches and their result counts, form stages, contact clicks and performance. These aggregate statistics are retained for 90 days, without cookies or visitor identifiers. Entered text, contact details, full URLs and request references are not sent to this system. Measurement is disabled when Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control is enabled.

The cart, comparison list, language and VAT display mode are stored locally. Calculator entries, a pseudonymised request fingerprint and a retry ID may remain for the session. Your contact details and full proforma are not stored in browser storage.
Requests are available to the relevant EDIFIS teams and sent to the EDIFIS intranet for follow-up. Cloudflare hosts and protects the site and may set a technical security cookie. When the recap is sent, Resend processes the email address, name, reference, items, quantities, amounts and, when available, the signed proforma link. A pseudonymised network-address fingerprint limits abuse.
This information is restricted to the relevant EDIFIS teams and retained only as needed for processing and applicable obligations. It is not sold.
Requests remain in the EDIFIS administration area until an authorised person processes and deletes them. Local settings remain until cleared. Technical abuse-prevention fingerprints are used only for a security window and removed by subsequent automatic clean-ups.
When a request is deleted, its contact details, items and documents are removed from the shop and a deletion is sent to the EDIFIS intranet, with automatic retries after an outage. Only a non-reversible HMAC of the reference is retained for up to 395 days to prevent an old identifier from recreating the data. HMACs of the network address, phone and email limit abuse and are removed by automatic clean-ups.
